Optional “live” online attendance at 26 “live” sessions (33%) will be recorded and edited for participant privacy before being made available in the Course Bundle.
- 6 Collaborative Coaching sessions
- 20 Course Author Q and As.
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE!
For the first 5000 teacher aides that enrol in the bundle (using the MoE or self funding) we will send them a Wellbeing Pack, just for them! This pack will help them bring trauma-informed practice to life in their kura. These will be sent out in July.

I am a Teacher Aide. How do I get the MoE Teacher Aide PLD Fund to pay for my enrolment?
1.
Before applying, discuss the PLD you are interested in with your supervisor to ensure it meets the criteria. You will need to seek approval from your principal, tumuaki or supervisor- whatever is appropriate in your setting.
2
You will need to set up an Education Sector Logon (ESL) and fill in the online application form. You will need:
a. The email address of the person approving the PLD.
b. Your Ministry employee number and your school number (which you can find on your pay slip)
3
Apply for the funding for your PLD through the online form through the ESL.
Select "Set Category" for Application Type.
4
The Ministry of Education receives and processes your application.
5
When your application is approved, you and your approver will receive notification of approval. Approvers will be asked to contact the Ministry if they do not endorse the original application.
Your approval notification will include your application reference number(ARN).
If there are any details which are incorrect in your application, please notify the Ministry as soon as possible so that they can be corrected.
6
Once the Ministry has approved your application, you can contact [email protected] to enrol in the PLD – you’ll need to supply her with your application reference number (ARN) as confirmation of your funding. Please also email her your confirmation email.
7
You will then be enrolled in the course. Please note that this may take 24 hours from when you email your application reference number (ARN).
